A number of species are used as ornamental plants. They are also known as ‘Frangipani’ or ‘Temple Tree’
Position: In full sun; In well-drained soil, such as cactus mix or potting soil with perlite or sand.
Flowering season: Almost all year round, except for a short dormancy period during which it loses all its leaves.
Care: Water very little during the dormant period, let the soil dry out before watering again. During the growing season, it can be watered sufficiently.
Fertilization: fertilizer with a lot of nitrogen in the spring but then a fertilizer with a high phosphorus content every two weeks during the growing season.
A fertilizer with a high phosphorus content ensures that the plant produces many new flower branches, resulting in many beautiful flowers.
Overwintering: above 12C and do not water as long as no leaves are present, otherwise the stems will rot to the ground
